Brianna Powell
My name is Brianna Powell and I am a Psychology major. I am working in this lab to gain experience that will help guide me on which path I would like to take in the future. As of now, I plan to be a psychiatrist, but I appreciate the opportunity now to see if my true calling will be mainly in research.
Regan Moss
Regan (she/her/hers) is an undergraduate student pursuing concurrent degrees in Microbiology and Neuroscience with a concentration in Pre-Medicine. She plans to obtain her MD/PhD, aiming to specialize in neurosurgery and pursue a degree in neuroscience, with a biochemical/computational focus. She wants to conduct research re: stress, trauma, and adverse experiences, particularly as experienced by marginalized communities. She wants to form a CBPR team and work with others in the public health sector, such that more holistic, person-centered health care may be provided.
Lauryn Ryan
My name is Lauryn, and I am Psychology major set to graduate this Fall 2020 term. Afterwards, I intend to join a graduate school program with a concentration in school counseling. I am particularly interested in parent/child relationships and how intersectionality plays a role in the development of children.
Aria Brusch
Hi all! My name is Aria Brusch and I am a sophomore pursuing a Psychology degree here at Auburn. This is my first research study and I am very excited to be a part of the team. I love working with kids, so this project seemed like a good way to get started with projects focused on helping parents and children. During this time, I want to be able to help in any way that I can whilst learning about how a research project operates.
Angel Perry-Jackson
Hello everyone! My name is Angel, and I am currently a senior majoring in Psychology with a double minor in Counseling and Human Development and Family Studies. I am excited to be a part of this lab because it is centered around my interests, and because I am always looking for ways to learn and improve the quality of life for myself and others. My interests/passions include children, childhood trauma, the foster care system, mental health in communities of color, abuse, neglect, etc. I have many other interests, but these are some just to name a few. I look forward to working with you all!

Hello all! My name is Karlie Burrell and I am a senior majoring in Psychology and double minoring in Business Administration and Counseling Psychology. This is my first semester in this lab and I am super excited to be working with everyone. I hope to use my education to amplify the voices of those who are marginalized and serve communities who are traditionally underserved, so this project feels like a great place to gain more skills that will help me to do so.
